Training Course on “Human Resource Management”
Unlocking and effectively utilizing each individual’s potential is aimed not only at achieving the best results for the organization but also at helping employees find their proper place in the workplace and stay motivated. Human Resource Management is a multidisciplinary field that requires knowledge of labor legislation, the ability to create a positive and efficient work environment aligned with organizational goals, and the application of psychological approaches and other competencies.
On August 14, a training course on "Human Resource Management" was launched at the RA SRC "Training Center," a partner of the AGBU "Learn and Earn: Artsakh" project. The course is conducted by Professor Anna Maqsudyan, Lecturer at the YSU Chair of Theory and History of Sociology, Associate Professor, and Head of the HRM Master's Program. The aim of the course is to introduce participants to the approaches and tools used in developing human resource management policies.
The importance of Human Resource Management (HR) is driven by several factors, including:
- Talent Management: HR is responsible for recruiting, hiring, and retaining talented employees to ensure the right people are in the right roles to achieve organizational goals.
- Employee Development։ HR implements training and development programs that help employees enhance their skills and achieve professional growth, contributing to increased productivity.
- Compliance: HR ensures that the organization adheres to labor laws and regulations related to workplace safety, non-discrimination, and employees’ rights, helping to avoid legal issues and maintain a fair work environment.
- Interpersonal Relations Management: HR manages relationships between employees and the organization, resolves conflicts, and fosters a positive organizational culture aligned with strategic goals.
- Compensation Program Development: HR designs and manages compensation packages, including health insurance, pension plans, and other benefits, helping attract and retain employees etc.
The "Humanitarian Aid and Integration of Refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh" project ("Learn and Earn: Artsakh") is implemented by AGBU Armenia (funded by the HEKS/EPER organization, in cooperation with the "Shen" NGO and the "Syunik-Development" Community NGO). The RA SRC "Training Center" is a proud participant in this responsible mission.
