AUA Student Interns Presented Their Graduation Projects at the SRC Training Center

The SRC Training Center of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia hosted the final thesis defense of 4th-year students from the Manukyan Simon College of Business and Economics (CBE) of the American University of Armenia, as a continuation of the practical collaboration implemented at the Center.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia Eduard Hakobyan, Head of Staff David Mathevosyan, Director of the SRC Training Center Arusyak Mirzakhanyan, Director of the Research and Evaluation Institute of the American University of Armenia Theresa Abovyan, staff of the SRC Training Center, and representatives of the SRC Human Resources Management Department.

The internship was carried out under the supervision of the SRC Training Center leadership and relevant departments, during which students were involved in studying the Center’s activities and developed innovative and practical proposals in the fields of human resources and public administration.

The project, titled “Values and Role-Based Recruitment Framework,” was developed by students Nane Mirzoyan, Nelly Ohanyan, Inesa Adamyan, and Davit Barseghyan. Within the scope of the project, they analyzed challenges in recruitment within the public sector, studied international best practices, and developed practical recommendations aimed at improving the efficiency of candidate selection, strengthening transparency, and attracting qualified professionals.

The project included several applied solutions, including:

  • a prototype of a digital recruitment transparency platform,
  • targeted cooperation mechanisms with universities, high schools, and other educational institutions,
  • an informational video concept,
  • an ethics, logic, and situational assessment testing system.

Following the presentation, a discussion and Q&A session was held, during which participants had the opportunity to further elaborate on the work and respond to questions raised.

The SRC Training Center places great importance on collaboration with students as a key platform for professional knowledge exchange, new ideas, and the development of the public administration system. The students’ work stood out for its in-depth analysis, study of international experience, and practical applicability.
