Interns of the SRC Training Center Successfully Defended Their Graduation Theses at YSU

Two students of the Human Resource Management master’s program at the Faculty of Sociology of Yerevan State University, who completed internships at the Training Center of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia, successfully defended their graduation theses.

The internship was conducted under the supervision of the Center’s Director, Arusyak Mirzakhanyan. During the internship, the students participated in the Center’s working processes, acquired practical skills, and conducted sector-specific research, presenting practical recommendations.

Siranush Avetisyan defended her thesis entitled “Branding Public Service as a Tool for Employee Recruitment”. Within the framework of the research, recruitment mechanisms, employer branding tools, and opportunities for attracting young professionals were examined. The thesis proposed several initiatives aimed at strengthening the employer brand and increasing recruitment efficiency, particularly through organizing open house days, implementing short-term introductory internships, and introducing an employee ambassador system.

Meanwhile, Milena Antonyan presented a study entitled “Anti-Corruption Policy in Shaping Employee Behavior”. The research included document analysis and case studies, based on which recommendations were developed for integrating behavioral components, promoting a culture of integrity, and expanding digitalization processes.

The students noted that prior to the internship they had certain concerns regarding the nature of work within a state institution, assuming that it would mainly involve administrative functions. However, from the very first days, they became involved in real working processes and gained valuable practical experience.

They also emphasized that the Center’s staff continuously supported them throughout both the internship and the preparation of their graduation theses, fostering a collaborative and encouraging environment.

Such initiatives play an important role in strengthening students’ theoretical knowledge through practice and in connecting academic education with the professional environment.

The SRC Training Center of the Republic of Armenia continues its active cooperation with higher educational institutions, contributing to the professional development of young specialists and the dissemination of practical knowledge within the public sector.
