Annual Career Fair Held at the American University of Armenia

The SRC Training Center of the Republic of Armenia today participated in the annual Career Fair organized at the American University of Armenia (AUA).

The purpose of the event is to bring together employers, experienced professionals, and young candidates on a single platform, promoting career development opportunities for students and strengthening ties between key labor market actors.

During the fair, the SRC Training Center presented its educational programs, as well as the procedures for customs and tax officer training courses, while employees of the SRC Personnel and Management Department introduced career opportunities in the tax and customs systems, professional growth prospects, and the skills required in the field. Particular attention was given to opportunities for conducting research projects (capstone projects) and internships in the tax and customs sectors.

Representatives of the Center and the SRC had the opportunity to present the specifics of public service directly to AUA students and graduates at their exhibition booth, answer their questions, and showcase an educational game developed by the Center. This format encouraged active student engagement, productive discussions, and increased career-oriented awareness.

The Career Fair serves as an important platform for strengthening employer–student collaboration, discussing innovative approaches to human capital development, and exchanging experience with representatives from various sectors.

The SRC Training Center emphasizes the importance of involving young professionals in the public sector and providing continuous support for their professional development.

Participation in such initiatives contributes to raising awareness about public service, as well as expanding interest in the field among young people and supporting their professional orientation.
