Regional Meeting-Discussion at NPUA Vanadzor Branch

Public awareness campaigns, particularly face-to-face meetings, are among the key tools for strengthening and ensuring dialogue between government representatives and society.

Within the framework of the public strategy for tax and customs reforms, the RA SRC Training Center has initiated a series of meetings with university students. The goal is to raise awareness about programs and pathways for receiving education, obtaining a new profession within the SRC, as well as to familiarize students with legislative changes and current activities.

In this format, the second regional meeting-discussion took place on October 27, 2023, at the Vanadzor branch of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA).

The meeting was attended by Arusyak Mirzakhanyan, Director of the SRC Training Center; Artur Hakobyan, Deputy Head of the Tax Inspectorate-Department of Current Control of Taxpayers; Gor Vardanyan, Head of the Academic Division; and Lilit Poghosyan, Coordinator of Training Programs.

Arusyak Mirzakhanyan presented the existing programs and opportunities within the SRC system that can help students develop professional skills and gain practical experience. Artur Hakobyan shared his experience, focusing on tax-related functions of the SRC, Gor Vardanyan introduced the procedures for participating in training programs, and Lilit Poghosyan presented the courses organized by the Training Center.

The SRC representatives emphasized that one of the key motivations for working in the public sector is the commitment to serving the state, recognizing one’s contribution to its development, and taking responsibility.
