Participation in Click! Courses Contributed to Joining the Teaching Staff

The SRC Training Center continues to play an important role in creating development opportunities for trainers by fostering, strengthening, and promoting Armenia's valuable expertise in the fields of taxation and customs.

Araksya Mkrtchyan, Chief Customs Inspector of the Law Enforcement Cooperation and Information Analysis Division of the Anti-Smuggling Department of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia has recently joined the Center's teaching staff. In addition to being a highly qualified customs officer, she is also an active user of the World Customs Organization's Click! learning platform. She will now share with SRC employees the knowledge and experience gained through her participation in numerous courses offered by the platform. Her active participation in these courses also contributed to the decision to include her in the Training Center's teaching staff.

As part of the training programmes "Legal Regulations Established by the EAEU Customs Code and Other Legal Acts of the Eurasian Economic Union" and "Legal Regulations Established by the RA Law on Customs Regulation and Related Legal Frameworks", a training session entitled "Seizure (Detention) of Goods and Related Documents by Customs Authorities" was held on 25 April at the SRC Training Center.

The training was attended by customs officers from the Southern, Northern, Eastern and Western Customs Administrations, as well as the Yerevan Customs Service Center.
